Back pain after a long day at a desk, a shoulder that never fully recovered from an old injury, a baby who cannot settle. Each has a story behind it, and treating the symptom alone tends to bring it back.
Galina looks at how your whole body moves and works, then combines hands-on osteopathy with rehabilitation and, where it helps, a functional medicine view of your wider health. The aim is simple: get you comfortable, then keep you that way.

About functional medicineIf your pain started with an accident or injury, ACC may cover part of the cost of your osteopathy, and you do not need to see a GP first. Galina’s ACC provider registration is underway, and ACC claims will be available once it is complete; ACC rates are $75 for adults and $70 for babies and children. Baby appointments are usually not ACC-funded unless there has been an injury.

Gentle hands-on treatment, with rehabilitation exercises or one-to-one Pilates where they will speed things up. Follow-ups are spaced to your progress, not a set programme.

Osteopath, Pilates teacher and Functional Medicine practitioner
Galina Bell is a registered osteopath with more than 25 years in movement and rehabilitation. She began as a comprehensive Pilates teacher and went on to found Pilates Plus London, one of the first London studios to combine osteopathy with Pilates-based rehabilitation for musculoskeletal injury. In 2025 the practice was nominated for the Institute of Osteopathy's Best Small Osteopathic Practice award, finishing in the top five in the UK.
She completed a five-year osteopathy degree at the London School of Osteopathy, followed by more than 15 years of postgraduate study with the Sutherland Cranial College and extensive additional training in paediatric osteopathy. Seeing more patients with chronic and complex conditions, she then spent five years studying with the Institute for Functional Medicine, qualifying in 2025.
Galina works with babies, children, athletes, women through fertility and menopause, and people with long-standing or complex conditions. Her approach is personal and root-cause focused: structural and cranial osteopathy, rehabilitation and, where it helps, functional and genetic testing.
Bell Osteopathy is her practice in Parnell.
