Privacy notice

Bell Osteopathy is an osteopathy and wellness clinic at 252 Parnell Road, Parnell, Auckland 1052, run by Galina Bell. You can contact us about privacy at contact@bellosteopathy.co.nz or on 029 0527 2033.

• Your name, email address, phone number, the appointment type you choose and anything you write in a message when you use the appointment or contact forms.
• A hashed record of your device's network address, used only to prevent spam and kept for no longer than 24 hours.
• Once website analytics is switched on, anonymous usage information such as pages visited and the type of device used.

Please do not include detailed health information in a website message. We will ask what we need to know when we speak to you.

When you become a patient we collect the health information needed for your care, such as your history, assessment findings and treatment notes. This information is held under the Health Information Privacy Code 2020. We share it only with your consent or where the law allows, for example with ACC when you make a claim, or with your GP or another health professional when you ask us to.

• To reply to you and confirm or change appointments.
• To provide safe, appropriate care.
• To meet our legal and professional obligations, including ACC and record-keeping requirements.
• To understand how the website is used so we can improve it.

Website enquiries are stored in a secure database that only the clinic can access. Our website provider may store this data on servers outside New Zealand. Clinical records are stored securely and separately from the website.

Website enquiries are deleted within 12 months unless you become a patient. Health records are kept for at least 10 years after your last appointment, as New Zealand health record rules require.

This website sets only the cookies needed for it to work. When analytics is enabled we use it to see anonymous visit statistics, not to identify you. You can block cookies in your browser settings at any time.

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Email contact@bellosteopathy.co.nz and we will respond within 20 working days. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.

We will update this page if our practices change and show the date of the latest version at the top.
