Your story
You talk through what is happening, when it started, your health history and what you want to get back to.
Hands-on, unhurried osteopathy from Galina Bell, a registered osteopath with more than 25 years in movement and rehabilitation. Her ACC provider registration is underway and ACC claims will be available once it is complete. 45-minute appointments, adults $125 or $75 at the ACC rate.

Registered with the Osteopathic Council of New Zealand
Registered osteopaths can treat injuries under ACC in New Zealand. If your injury happened in an accident, at work, playing sport or at home, ACC may cover part of the cost of your treatment, and you do not need to see a GP first.
Galina’s ACC provider registration is underway. Once it is complete, she can lodge the claim for you at your first appointment and you pay the ACC rate of $75 per 45-minute appointment. If you already have a claim number, bring it with you.
Osteopathy is a hands-on form of healthcare that looks at how your muscles, joints, nerves and connective tissue work together as one system. An osteopath assesses how you move, finds where your body is restricted or overloaded, and uses gentle manual techniques such as soft tissue work, joint mobilisation and stretching to restore movement and reduce strain.
In New Zealand, osteopathy is a registered health profession regulated by the Osteopathic Council of New Zealand. You can book directly without a referral, and registered osteopaths can treat injuries covered by ACC.

1
You talk through what is happening, when it started, your health history and what you want to get back to.
2
Galina watches how you stand, move and bear weight, and examines the areas involved and the areas connected to them.
3
Gentle hands-on techniques chosen for your body and your comfort. Galina explains each one before she uses it, and you can ask questions at any time.
4
You leave with a clear explanation, advice on posture and movement, and any exercises that will help. Follow-ups are spaced to your progress.
Galina combines structural osteopathy with cranial osteopathy, a very gentle approach she has studied for more than 15 years with the Sutherland Cranial College. Structural techniques work on joints, muscles and posture. Cranial techniques use light, precise pressure to release deeper patterns of tension through the body. Which she uses, and how much, depends on your body, your history and what you are comfortable with.
Because Galina is also a Pilates teacher and Functional Medicine practitioner, she looks past the painful area to the habits, loads and health factors that keep bringing it back. Treatment may be paired with rehabilitation exercises, one-to-one clinical Pilates or, for complex and long-standing problems, a functional medicine consultation.

From desk workers to competitive athletes, treatment is matched to your body, your history and how active you want to be.
